I love this kitchen, are those stainless steal counter tops? The glossy wood floors look so clean, does anyone have white wood floors? I've always wondered if they chip easily or look dirty quickly?

I have white wooden floors. Well, not even white, but bright, bright, bright grey. And with a 15month old in house....you do the math ;) It's kinda hopeless. But very pretty. But you have to wash the floors....ALOT! Upstairs their not gonna be painted white, but black ;)
ReplyDeleteWe have white tile with dark grout and it always looks dirty. Especially with a corgi that sheds dark fur everywhere! I agree that the white wood looks nice but I don't think it's very practical.
ReplyDeleteoh that aqua glass globe... We had white-painted wood floors a few homes ago, and while they made the space very bright and cheery, it was impossible to keep them clean. The only scenario I can picture them staying clean (and white) in is, I think, in the home of a lonesome middle-aged woman (with no grandchildren) living on her own... :) But they are beautiful in thought... +Chelsea

ReplyDeleteWe had black painted wooden floors years ago and I actually think they showed more dirt than if they had been white... but I could be wrong!
i was just reading the comments & i have to agree with kathy about black floors. i had black & white checkered tile & the black tiles drove me more crazy than the white. plus, dust shows so bad on black, under furniture that you can see below. oof.

I have white floors in my bathroom (tile not wood) and agree with Marie, they show every little speck of dirt and never seem to be clean. Lovely yet frustrating!
