Anna Karlin’s multidisciplinary studio renders beautiful brass housewares

While working on a guest post earlier this week I stumbled upon New York based Anna Karlin, a talented woman who works with many mediums including fine jewelry, art direction, graphic design, set design as well as furniture and lighting. It’s always impresses me so much to see an artist creating in multiple fields but it also seems like such a natural course of action as many principles of the arts can overlap onto each other.

The dimple lamp made of glass, brass and marble (shown directly above) is probably my favorite of her creations but truly they all help to compose a universe of unique expression from Anna!

AMM was created as a way to share my aesthetics with the world. Stunning interiors instigated my passion for beautiful, extraordinary, and simple shapes. I was largely influenced by Nordic design philosophy and AMM transitioned from a personal blog into my own collection of interiors, things, visual trends, DIY projects, lifestyle products, and observations. As an interior design aficionado, I would love to see like-minded people, so stay tuned!

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
