I've been asked about my table so I thought it time to share. This is was an early Christmas present and we ordered it before it was released so it's still a fairly new piece. Designed by Nicholai Wiig Hansen and manufactured by Normann Copenhagen, a brand of which I am a monster fan, the Tablo table comes in four pieces which are just the legs and top. It's a pretty good size and as you can see, we use it to stack large books (that don't fit in the shelves next to the couch) so it's strong enough to hold a decent amount of weight.
They make a matte black version and a smaller one too!
hah, i´ve been lusting over the same one and yesterday i decided to order it! it´s so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll like it!
DeleteI saw this table on tv in a program about design, loved it right away. Looks very good in your house!
ReplyDeleteLoove this table! : )
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
i think so too, the only thing i´m wondering is that does it match nicely to my eames rocking chair cause it also had these wooden parts. what do you think?
ReplyDeletethink the Eames legs might be lighter, though they come in a variety of colors. It might look nice still. The top is glossy & I'm guessing your Eames is matte, if that makes a difference. There's always the black one too!
DeleteI'm sure you'll make it look good. ;)
I think I just found my future table! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this table, is beautiful, lucky you : )
ReplyDeleteI am seriously wanting this table. My sister use to exhibit at Accent on Design a trade show at the Javitz center in New York and her booth was always across from Normann Copenhagen. We were able to order everything at wholesale and they would let us take their Norm 06 lighting displays after the show that they didn't want to ship back. I miss those days.
ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds amazing! Have you seen their new natural Bau pendant? That is on my hit list for sure. They just can't make anything ugly.
DeleteI'd miss those days too. :(
The new pendant is pretty amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the photos of the table, the table is amazing. Looks like the perfect size,
ReplyDeleteI might buy this in a few months :)
-have a great easter :)

The table is great. I love that you have books and magazines stacked as "art." You are supporting my inability to discard magazines and books! ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful piece, seriously your home is amazing! I was wondering where you got the spotty (?) black and white cushion on your sofa from? The one on the far right in the pictures?
ReplyDeleteCatherine,
DeleteI made that fabric myself from fabric I found at a local fabric store. It's a bit small for the pillow form inside but I'm glad you like it!
I pass their flagship store every day on the way to drop off the kids to school. It is SO much fun seeing how they change out their window display and what new products are out. I've been eying this table because I really want a round one. Now, you just need to come visit Copenhagen so you can really enjoy Normann Copenhagen! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice ride you have, I would love to be near a store like this.
DeleteI know, a trip to Copenhagen has to be in our near future!
Your home is looking really nice, very clean style.
ReplyDeleteyou would fit in well here, for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat table is absolutely fabulous! Your throw pillows are ridiculously perfect also. Love love love.
