Our new bedroom

It’s been a month since we moved from our home. I have mixed emotions about the move, it’s a step towards some of our dreams but it’s also leaving a level of comfort that we created for ourselves. I miss the new kitchen, our white floors, the open layout but it’s good to keep looking forward.
The great thing about a move though is you get to purge, purge, purge! It feels so good to get rid of extra things and keep only what we really use and love. Even with fewer things it’s taken this month to fully unpack and if I’m being really honest, there are still 4 boxes of books sitting behind me waiting to be unpacked!

Our new (temporary) bedroom is tiny but I don’t mind it too much. Since Elin is sleeping in our room I have our bed/crib against the wall, which is the only way to fit them in while not feeling suffocated. It’s just a bit funny to me though, the last time my bed was in a corner like this I was a teenager and loathed making my bed.

Some of my favorites things are this wooden coat hanger from Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm, deep blue linen blanket, Muuto Visu chair that doubles as a side table and a stack of my favorite Danish interior magazine Rum.

AMM was created as a way to share my aesthetics with the world. Stunning interiors instigated my passion for beautiful, extraordinary, and simple shapes. I was largely influenced by Nordic design philosophy and AMM transitioned from a personal blog into my own collection of interiors, things, visual trends, DIY projects, lifestyle products, and observations. As an interior design aficionado, I would love to see like-minded people, so stay tuned!

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
