Last weekend I hosted a brunch for a dear friend who's also moving back to Texas after staying here for the past year. I had the help of a few girlfriends who I commissioned to bring the cucumber sandwiches, asparagus tart and even Kirsten brought the yogurt and fruit cups.
I didn't have much time to plan, as is the case these days, so I cut up some tissue paper & made some tassels and put some flowers in vases.
I made zucchini pancakes, water with key limes, quiche and croissants with jam...I did not make the croissants! I did bake a cake though at midnight the night before, it tasted better than it looked. We had a great time & everything went smoothly, phew!
I'm only sad my friend is gone, she will be missed.
Wow, it looks amazing!
