1/ What is your fondest Christmas memory?

My fondest Christmas memory would be my first proper Christmas in England in 2011. I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas the traditional way – with a tree, wreaths, and stockings, etc. – so 2011 was my first taste of a classic Christmas. I spent it with my partner’s family in Cambridge, and we went all out! It was my first time having an advent calendar, mince pies, Christmas crackers, gifts piled under the tree, multiple wreaths, and a big Christmas dinner followed by Boxing Day lunch made of leftovers. I especially love all the food!

2/ What are some new traditions have you adopted as an adult?

A (very) new tradition I’ve adopted with my partner is to donate the money we would have spent on each other’s gifts, in years past, each to a charity of our choosing.

3/ The best part of Christmas time for you?

The best part of Christmas for me is the quiet and the leisurely pace. It’s the one time in the year when most people are taking time off work, and life slows down. Having a moment to relax amidst the calm is the greatest luxury for me, so I cherish this immensely.

AMM was created as a way to share my aesthetics with the world. Stunning interiors instigated my passion for beautiful, extraordinary, and simple shapes. I was largely influenced by Nordic design philosophy and AMM transitioned from a personal blog into my own collection of interiors, things, visual trends, DIY projects, lifestyle products, and observations. As an interior design aficionado, I would love to see like-minded people, so stay tuned!

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
