Floral chandelier DIY with DLK

Today I have one last post in collaboration with Design Life Kids sharing a simple DIY using this beautiful brass candleholder from Ferm Living. You can easily imagine this as a centerpiece during Christmas or New Year’s dinners but adding some fresh green carries it into Spring and Summer.

You will need:

candleholder (this one comes with the leather straps for hanging)or something similar
scissors
twine, jute or wire to attach the flowers (I used this natural cord because I was going for an easy feel, not overly perfect)
candles
variety of flowers and branches (I used white mums, queen anne’s lace and hydrangeas)
matches

You can affix the greenery any way you like but I wanted a more organic look so I clustered a few around the candle bases, leaving empty spaces for the brass to show through. It took only took about 5 minutes but the result gives a completely different look, and smells pretty good at that.

AMM was created as a way to share my aesthetics with the world. Stunning interiors instigated my passion for beautiful, extraordinary, and simple shapes. I was largely influenced by Nordic design philosophy and AMM transitioned from a personal blog into my own collection of interiors, things, visual trends, DIY projects, lifestyle products, and observations. As an interior design aficionado, I would love to see like-minded people, so stay tuned!

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
