I just started my second trimester and while I'm getting more of my energy back, I still find myself going to bed hours earlier than I did before pregnancy. In the Summer I like t keep my bedding mostly white, it seems cool and soft but for some reason I was craving something with deep color and the feeling of comfort. Greys do this for me, make the room feel more cozy and inviting.
When you crave comfort, what's your go to color?

  1. I'm the same way with white during the summer. It's my comfort go-to, as well - Neutrals, whites, creams... I love simple, subtle color.

  5. My bedroom walls are very bright (which I regret now) so I prefer neutral colours for bedding.
    Great pictures.

  7. the mood in these photographs is so gloomy but comforting. i love rainy days in bed with hot drinks.
this room, just from the photographs, seems a nice place to stay. the little terrariums are beautiful, too.
my comfort colour is grey, too. black and white seem harsh when i'm in need of a hug.

I lovee that gray. I have the same shade of gray for my top sheet too! With a grey-striped fitted sheet for contrast. Good luck with your pregnancy!!

  10. I'm curious where the bed linens are from? I'm a single mom with a cat, dog and teenager so I can't have a light colored duvet/cover...and this looks uber-comfy!

  11. Would you kindly share where the bed frame might be from? Thanks in advance.
