I've always envied these deep window ledges. Someday I'd love to have some like this in our home, so many great things you can collect on them.

  3. Love deep window ledges too! Used to have them in my old apartments, but unfortunately not in our newer house. Hope your Wednesday is good so far!

  4. so true, and happe us : we have them - in marble, original. and absolutely love them. even deeper as we live at the first floor.

  6. Totally agree. My aunt lives in the Pennine foothills and has a farmhouse with big windows and deep ledges that overlook a fell constantly changing with the weather, full of colours and showing the shadows of the clouds. I love to sit on that ledge with a cup of tea and a book and just read and watch the world change. A ledge is good but a ledge with a view is better!

  10. This is how I feel about window seats. I wish every window in our home doubled as a seat so I could pile it with cushions and pillows....someday right? :]
