We live in an area that is about 20 minutes from the city but very near open fields, grazing cows, sheep and even roosters. Though if I had my way I would live in the middle of a busy city, I can also appreciate the open skies and wildflowers. This is where we live now and I want to appreciate it while we can because someday we might move and then I have a feeling I might miss it.

  1. You're lucky to be in a place like that, I personally prefer the open blue skies rather than tall buildings. The body needs to be surrounded by nature.
I live in Queens, NYC, and I've had it with the noise, trains, buildings and lack of open spaces- it gets stressful when you wake up on a sunday morning to sirens, look out the window and all you see is another building's window. I'd trade my place with you anytime haha
Also, you've got a marvelous blog I've been following for a while now, and it hasn't once let me down. x

  5. Like you, I live in an area where I get the best of both worlds! I love it, and I wish I could stay forever. Sadly, the neighborhood is changing.

  7. Currently I live in the bustling city of Seattle. I'm from Salt Lake City though, very near to Idaho :) You will miss it if you ever move but I loooove the city so I don't regret it!

    Lovely photos.
