Over the weekend I bought some salted caramel and shortbread. The shortbread didn't last long but we still had some leftover caramel so we ate it with some banana bread muffins my mom made for Israel. It was quite rich so just one muffin was enough, but tasty too. Israel was unsure of the caramel at first but then warmed right up to it.

    1. Usually they don't need anything, especially banana bread but we wanted to try it out.

Salted caramel is delicious on ice cream - especially on a very strong dark chocolate one.

For those who have no ice cream salted caramel is delicious but dangerous by the spoonful alone.
