Over the weekend I bought some salted caramel and shortbread. The shortbread didn't last long but we still had some leftover caramel so we ate it with some banana bread muffins my mom made for Israel. It was quite rich so just one muffin was enough, but tasty too. Israel was unsure of the caramel at first but then warmed right up to it.

Those must go so well together, salted and caramel (:

That looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI never put anything on muffins but maybe I should start especially if it is salted caramel :)
ReplyDeleteUsually they don't need anything, especially banana bread but we wanted to try it out.
DeleteOh yum! That looks like some thick and delicious salted caramel.
ReplyDeletelove the combo-will have to try and find a recipe for the caramel-would be great to make and a sweet gift
ReplyDeleteyum yum!!
ReplyDeleteSalted caramel is delicious on ice cream - especially on a very strong dark chocolate one.
ReplyDeleteFor those who have no ice cream salted caramel is delicious but dangerous by the spoonful alone.
Mmm i need to go get some!
