One of the best parts of being a mom is getting to play. Israel's current favorites are playing kitchen and building with blocks, among scooting around cars and tractors, painting and general mess making. It's hard to resist when I hear his little voice say, "come mama, build!" So we build little towers just to knock them down and do it over again.

  1. Hace tiempo que en mi casa siempre se levantan torres con esas piezas de madera, se vuelven a tirar y se construye algo nuevo. Me encanta!!!

  2. I love those blocks! I'm looking for something similar for my little girl's first birthday - we want to get her some quality blocks to use for years to come. Do you mind me asking where you bought them?

    1. This isn't very helpful but my mom bought these for my son years ago at a yard sale!
I know brio makes a really cute set of blocks and Kid O makes a cute set too.
Check Amazon, I always find cute toys there. :)

  3. Building blocks were my all time favorite toy during childhood. To be honest, I could still play with them:-)

  4. I think I get more into building with blocks than my son does. Same goes for painting and coloring. I could do it all day. Thats the best thing about having kids!

  8. Oh please share where the super cool wooden stove-top came from. It looks like it can hang off any edge.
