I decided to move some things around the house this weekend. I needed to quiet the 'visual noise' in the house so I cleared anything that wasn't absolutely essential. Extra chairs, pillows, vases, pictures and knick knacks were all cleared out and stored away. I piled some of these things in the corner of our room before putting them away.
I'm not sure how long I will keep things put away but I'm actually liking all these blank wall and rooms, sort of a nice change. Slowly I'll put everything back, some in the same places, some in new places and maybe a few I will get rid of for good.
I suppose this is what happens when you're at home as much as me.
Your "noise" is nicer than my decor. :) It can feel so nice to have a blank slate, I think.

It's always nice to make some modifications in our interior. One has the impression of living a new home...
