Our latest trip to the market looked like this. You can see the cheese puffs bag had been opened in the car, someone could not wait until he got home. I didn't realize how color coordinated I was until I got home. Yellows & oranges, purple & greens and blue and whites. The mini cream puff was too pretty not to have its own little plate.
Now to do some cooking...
I find that I am more likely to eat lots of vegetables if they're colorful, the cauliflower for example.

such a great post! at first glance, all of the vibrant colors made everything seem so unreal. i bet it was a good market day :)
ReplyDeleteNo, they're real & I didn't do much post editing either. Kind of fun!
Deletewould you mind, me coming over for dinner? this looks so inviting!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Pretty sure *i* wouldn't want to cook all of that because it looks so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure I recognize all your fruits and veggies, but it makes a beautiful photo and perhaps some interesting eats
ReplyDeleteBeautifull pretty vegetables!
ReplyDeleteLove the purple cauliflower! My father is a couliflower farmer, we have them also in orange when the dutchteam is doing well in a big soccertournament ;-)
(although purple and orange are not doing it as well as the good old white one..(selling))
I saw the orange cauliflower there too, should have grabbed it as well!
DeleteYou had enough orange this week, maybe a tip for next time? ;-)
DeleteI have a random but honest qestion.... I was actually wondering if your, at all, selling your sons clothes. I have a six month old son who is growing rapidly. Or locate me to your choice of clothing sites :) Where I live in Arizona, you don't find much cute/modern clothing. Thanks for your help.

Andii
Hi Andi,
DeleteWe shop all around for him. The Gap, Old Navy & Zara are the most common places. A few things from H&M when we can get them too.
Hope that helps!
Jennifer
Thank you Jennifer :) It helps.
DeleteOh my goodness i must know your plans for these!
ReplyDeleteI've been using them up individually. I roasted the cauliflower tonight with some garlic, olive oil, lemon juice & parmesan cheese.
DeleteI cut up the Chimoya & put it in a big bowl of fruit & ate them all raw.
The little chocolate chips & put over the yogurt with agave nectar.
That's all I've done so far though!

ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! Happy cooking!

I am addicted to those Enjoy Life chocolate chips. I use them in muffins, cookies, banana bread. I had to hide them from my daughter though. She keeps eating them out of the bag. Looks like we like the same brands as you. I just posted some similar purchases on my blog at http://womaninreallife.blogspot.ca/2012/03/grocery-list-part-one.html
