  3. I have what's verging on a ladder phobia from a dad-built loft bed in my teens.

    Nice to see that ladder is FIXED TO THE WALL, a detail overlooked in the bed.

    It went: floor, then me and the ladder on top. Just like a sandwich.

    So many times.
