I ordered a few new things for Israel which arrived today.
They're so cute but as I was looking at them I felt a little
disappointed, they're so big! I can't believe my baby is
wearing these sizes now.
I the plus side, I am really enjoying this age and even these
"little man" clothes I can dress him in now. I couldn't resist
the little terrier t-shirt!
I haven't shared pictures of Israel lately, who is now 9 1/2 mos old!
He's such a fun baby. Today we went for a walk and visited the horse
in our backyard, not exactly our backyard but it's right behind our
house, and Israel thought he was hilarious! He kept giggling at every
movement the horse made. Am I missing something? What's so funny? We
laughed together anyways-I'm sure the horse thought we were ridiculous.
He really knows how to make the most mundane activities fun!

Last week I received these great pieces from ZGallerie. The
faceted vase is in our room, I love matte white and the angular
shape! I was thinking of planting some trailing succulents in
it since I don't often have fresh flowers in the house, but then
again I think it looks fine alone too! The little glass creamer
so cute, I could have a couple of them! This morning I used it
for my almond milk and it held exactly enough for my cereal.
Actually, the creamer is just the right size for a vase too!

You have a week to enter so good luck all!
This past week I did some serious post spring cleaning.
We ended up having a yard sale and donating the rest
of our junk to a thrift store. It feels so good to be
rid of all that excess stuff. In an almost counterproductive
act, I bought a chair for our bedroom. It doesn't take up
nearly the space that all of the other odds and ends took
up, and it's also much more functional.
For all you design lovers out there, this is obviously not
a Hardoy, it is indeed a knockoff. At much less
than $100 though, I don't mind a bit!
Check back tomorrow for a really exciting GIVEAWAY
I'm back from my little hiatus, well for today.
I've got some things planned this week that will keep
me away from the computer so blogging may be sporadic.
It's Summer time, what can I say?
To catch you all up to speed on the happenings around here,
our a/c fan stopped working and it's been the the 100's so
I've been getting little/no sleep at nights and trying to
leave the house to go some place with a functioning a/c during
the day. I've been cooking up this week's baby food and it
actually looked pretty appetizing, maybe he'll share with me?
Had a yard sale + got rid of a bunch of junk=relief!
Got a new chair for our bedroom and I'm having trouble making
it "fit". Also trying to make bedside tables for bedroom, fingers
I'll be posting some pictures of home soon but watch out later
this week for a couple cool, cool things I have to share!
At times I've had a love/hate relationship with CB2. Some seasons
their designs have been agonizingly boring or cold or too tribal
looking but the past two catalogs have impressed me quite a bit. Here
are a few of the things I liked. I must mention that the L_MP floor
lamp is my favorite but I also appreciate the hairpin
leg bedroom set!
